There is no such thing as a "stable" genius

I will give you just a few examples of geniuses who were insane, let's see if you can find a single one on a similar level of geniusy that would pass as "stable" by normal standards without acting.
Nikola Tesla- Was in a romantic relationship with a pidgeon. Possibly had high functioning aspergers. Had odd superstitions about the number 3. Believed in ending war by giving every nation on earth a giant death ray device that would lead to mutually assured destruction in the case of war.
Albert Einstein- Almost definitely had aspergers. Refused to wear socks or groom his hair. Was prone to fits of rage.
John Nash- Generally eccentric, suffered from a serious mental breakdown later in life and was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
Isaac Newton- Autistic and reclusive, obsessed with analyzing the bible, OCD.
