Things sure change under Biden Stewardship. Next up: North Korea...

Any thoughts regarding the demonstrable LOSS OF CONTAINMENT across so many rogue regimes at the earliest stages of a Biden presidency?
This one is trying to change his own topic now - North Korea. Understandable given the complete failures of his cult leader, Trump.

In the Orwellian Banana Republic of Trumplandia, Trump made great achievements in North Korea through his strategy of praising NK’s ruthless dictator. Sure, Trump completely failed in his pledge to get NK to destroy their nukes, and they fired lotsa missiles throughout the Trump presidency, but fealty to Dear Leader Trump requires that Trumplandians ignore all that and pretend that missile launches started with the Biden era.
Data points. Follow the science, Bugsy. This thread isn't about "Trump". It's about his successor...who, in less than a year and a half, has presided over historically unprecedented aggression by NK...as well as off-the-charts Russian ambition. Any thoughts on...you know...the administration actually in power while these measurable, demonstrable, historic data points are occurring?

"While all eyes have been glued on the war in Ukraine, North Korea has been busy. Kim Jong-un’s weapons scientists have test-launched 31 ballistic missiles so far this year compared with 25 in all of 2019, which was a record-setter up till then. On June 5 alone, they fired eight short-range missiles, all successfully, in the space of a mere 35 minutes. They also seem to be preparing to detonate a nuclear bomb, which would break a four-year moratorium that they’ve observed on testing nukes."
Why are the bad guys SO emboldened during Biden term

Just read the timeline. Much like Putin's aggression, psycho Kim is ROYALLY emboldened now that ol' Joe is at the helm. Jong-un is ramping everything WAYYY up. Why...it's almost like the world's bad guys smell estrogen...errr...blood in the water. Heckuva job, Joey!
As of June 5th there had been 18 rounds of tests...so if two missiles are in a test you bump the count of tests. In one test there were 8 missiles.

The launches were North Korea's 18th round of missile tests in 2022 alone — a streak that has included the country's first demonstrations of intercontinental ballistic missiles in nearly five years — as it continues to exploit a favorable environment to push forward weapons development with the U.N. Security Council divided over Russia's war on Ukraine.

Nuclear negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang have stalled since 2019 over disagreements in exchanging the release of crippling U.S.-led sanctions against North Korea and the North's disarmament steps.

.

In fact, North Korea got a huge bump in prestige when Trump said he loved Kim....and when Trump suspended military training exercises with South Korea...which would have damaged the military readiness of our forces standing in the way of a possible invasion from the north.

Address the subject please. NK...loss of relative containment...as measured by several noted metrics in this thread. Any thoughts on the Biden's Administration's presiding over such?

What aggression? North Korea has continued to test missiles even after Trump flew to Korea to kiss Kim's ass.

So you, as well, have zero comments to make regarding the current administration's record presiding over historic aggression of multiple international bad actors? There's nothing but "Trump"...and weird projections of "inflated esteem". Aggression explodes under Biden...and you harken to Kim receiving a warm fuzzy under Trump without such increases in aggression?

That's it?

Nope. It’s your idiotic thread claiming that NK’s bad behavior is due to Biden taking office. The reality, of course, is that their behavior has not changed for decades, including during the era of your cult leader, Trump. Debunking your idiotic point requires a look at the recent history, as painful as you find criticism of your cult leader.

It's in the linked article - as well as that which Zam Zam posted. Why are you not citing the data points and instead focusing on a non-president who said nice things. Metrics. Tests. Launches. Data points. Projections of "Esteem" doesn't really do the job does it?

“Relative containment”?

Yikes, your fealty to Trump doesn’t require that you completely embarrass yourself like that.

"Loss of containment"? Biden has resumed joint training exercises with South Korea...something Trump had stopped. Do you prefer that our forces be less ready to counter a North Korean invasion?

Data, Bugsy, Data. Kim is ramping it all up - historic annual highs in just six months. Anything substantive?

whady expect.

remember...just speaking to Dumb Un under the prior administration was considered an abysmal failure. Exiting the Paris accords. also abysmal. Producing domestic oil. ...abysmal.

today.. North Korea has launched the most missile tests..in years. THat's all cool. Biden has to go to plead for OPEC to INCREASE oil production... countries are returnign to coal use... Paris accords...what paris accors...

and hey...Imperial Russia is back...

but go figure... nothing to see here.
Oil production is the responsibility of the private sector.

I know, I know. You are going to say that Biden hurt their wittle feelings with his mean tweets.

So you think comparative containment is greater now than during Trump's term? Remember, we have DATA. Right here in this very thread. Kim is demonstrably LESS contained as indicated by data/metrics. Similarly, Putin considers himself freed up to march on his neighbor...unlike before.

Any thoughts on this?

Containment and constraint are measurably decreased under Biden. We have data and metrics. Training exercises and "esteem" are not indicators of Kim's comparative containment. Missile tests, launches, weapons development...now these things ARE.

Any honest thoughts on the matter.

There has been no "loss of containment". In fact, Trump's praise of Kim made him stronger and weakened any internal opposition to Kim's regime.

All the same, only two months after the Singapore summit, the IAEA reported developments in North Korea’s nuclear program were “cause for grave concern.” Trump and Kim made little progress on denuclearization in a subsequent meeting in Hanoi in 2019, with the United States maintaining its sanctions and North Korea conducting more rocket and ballistic missile tests. Washington’s newest era of good feelings with Pyongyang began to crack as both sides became increasingly frustrated with one another, with the North Korean foreign minister in June 2020 accusing the Trump administration of pursuing diplomacy only for domestic political gains. Pyongyang continues to stonewall the Biden administration’s efforts to revisit negotiations while dramatically increasing the pace of its missile tests.

Data? Here’s the data….

Trump claimed he would secure elimination of all of NK’s nuclear weapons. The number NK surrended? Zero.

NK also fired missiles throughout Trump’s term despite Trump’s moronic praise of the Fat Boy. They still fire them.

Your sycophantic take? Silence about Trump’s utter failure and pretending that NK only started to act up under Biden.

Your Trump/GOP hackery should embarrass you. But you’re clearly shameless.

Trump’s pledge was that he would secure elimination of NK’s nuclear weapons. He COMPLETELY failed at that, but here we have his cultists trumpeting his supposed progress.

Their sycophancy is nauseating.
Anything on the data points accumulated under Biden's presidency? No? You have nothing to say about the historic INCREASE in Jong-un's measurable aggression here? It is simply not to be counted?

Yes. My thought is that even blithering idiots should grasp that sucking up to dictators is precisely the wrong thing to do. Can you match blithering idiots and say that you grasp that?

Bunch of crap. Same thing are illustrious foreign policy experts stated when Trump had Soleimani killed. "a huge bump in prestige" as if the worlds largest Ghulag cares......

Canceling one excersize did not compromise anything, signing a bad deal, turning over millions in aid and running around pretending he accomplished something would have compromised everything.

Trump did none of those things, the Fat Kid offered him a deal, it was not good enough, Trump walked... no sanctions lifted.......
