Any judge that sucks up to the anti-Trump movement is a hero for you.
For starters, Cooper has enough conflicts of interest that he never should have been anywhere near a court in DC.
1. He is married to Amy Jeffries, Lisa Page’s lawyer since at least 2018, and current corrupt AG Merrick Garland presided over their marriage. Page was fired for misconduct, having played a pivotal role in both the Clinton-emails and Trump-Russia probes, including in the efforts to pursue both Gen.
Mike Flynn—wrecking his reputation and finances—and former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page—foisting a fraud on the FISA court while undermining basic civil liberties.

2. Cooper and Michael Sussmann both worked in the DOJ together. Cooper has even described himself, and the accused, Michael Sussmann, as "professional acquaintances." The two overlapped in President
Bill Clinton's DOJ.
3. Cooper first refused to allow a Hillary Clinton tweet be used in the case against Sussmann where Hillary claimed candidate Trump was connected to Russia. We now know that this entire story was a lie.
4. Cooper allowed some Hillary Clinton donors be admitted in the jury pool.
5. Cooper's wife, Amy Jeffress
contributed $2,700 to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign. She and her husband Judge Cooper—prior to his appointment to the court—had routinely cut checks to Democratic candidates and the
DNC. Blatant violation of the legal principle
“Nemo iudex in causa sua,”
6. As for more rulings by the judge to wreck Durham's case, law professor Jonathan as Turley notes, Cooper ha
s "barred Durham from arguing that there was a 'joint venture' in deception [between Sussmann and Rodney Joffe] with the Clinton campaign," "limited the evidence that Durham can present" and "refused prosecution access to some evidence and, while allowing access to some emails between the campaign and an opposition-research firm [Fusion GPS]...barred their introduction at trial due to the late request from the prosecutors."
7. Jury selection was a fiasco. Here, Cooper's rulings overruled prosecutors when they objected to the seating of several jurors. One was a Hillary donor. 2 others were AOC donors. Another was a member of the Sierra Club, who said she thought police ought to be defunded. Still another prospective juror said her husband worked for Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. She too was permitted to remain on the panel. One juror whose
daughter plays on the same high school crew team as Sussmann's.
8. Cooper refused to allow the infamous Sussman text to FBI General Counsel James Baker, specifically saying that he wasn’t coming in to see him on behalf of a client. the judge just ruled on Thursday that the prosecution can’t argue in its summation that the text is the false statement with which he is charged, thereby taking away that smoking gun.
9. This is a complicated case and the judge made it be far more complicated than necessary. We could get into all the semantics and complexities, but that would be more concentration on one issue (which is already past), taking tome away from the dozens of ither issues that need attention, Enough has already been posted here to show that Cooper should not have been the judge in this case, and his rulings were heavily biased.
