Trump referenced Coronavirus in Feb 4th SOTU address, Pelosi tore it up

Biden holds no government position at this time. However he did point out in a USA Today editorial on January 27 of this year how Trump and his Congress critters have decimated our response teams and cut funding for CDC and other pertinent public health agencies in order to give huge corporate tax cuts back in 2018. Looks like those chickens are coming home to roost.

The WHO said no such thing.
On Jan. 15, when the first American with coronavirus returned from China, House Democrats were ceremoniously carrying their articles of impeachment against Trump to the Senate.

The Heritage Foundation's Lyndsey Fifield identified numerous other instances of prominent media outlets criticizing the travel ban, in many cases without issuing any kind of correction. For example, The Verge cautioned that Trump's policies "contradict advice from the World Health Organization (WHO), which said yesterday that countries should not restrict travel or trade in their response to the new virus."

The Washington Post ran a story quoting a Chinese official asking for "empathy" and slamming the White House for acting "in disregard of WHO [World Health Organization] recommendation against travel restrictions."

In March, The Post finally acknowledged that critics accused China and WHO of "covering up or downplaying the severity of an infectious disease outbreak."

The WHO said no such thing.

Maybe if you read something other than OccupyDemocrats You would know.

January 14: Wuhan city health authorities release another statement declaring, “Among the close contacts, no related cases were found.” Wuhan doctors have known this was false since early December, from the first victim and his wife, who did not visit the market.

The World Health Organization echoes China’s assessment: “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in Wuhan, China.

The "racist and xenophobic" China travel ban was January 31st just a few days after the WHO said there was nothing to worry about.

The February 19th Democratic debate in Las Vegas with questions from MSNBC had no questions about the travel ban or coronavirus.

Lets be honest no one took it seriously except the U.S. government and even they thought it wouldn't last.

Everyone was wrong.
That's what I'm saying. Government as an institution failed the people. That includes leaders from both the Democrats and Republicans. Our government is horrible at these kinds of things. These elected officials often refuse to spend money on true needs, only on what is politically expedient.

That's why, yet again, the Conservative ideology is being proven to be the correct one. The private sector is infinitely more efficient and effective in making materials to combat this virus and to just help people in need. "Greedy" companies and CEO's, the ones socialists villainize hourly, are turning large portions of their factories and work areas into mask and ventilator manufacturing centers. Random individuals are giving to others. They're not doing so by government mandate and decree, they're actually good people who are doing the right thing. There's tons of people who are either wealthy or even not so much who don't need a government to make them do "good" things, they are just good people. A socialist won't admit that, but in moments like these, they simply have to close their eyes and plug their ears to avoid the reality of what is happening, and what is driving our success in fighting this pandemic.

Heads need to roll at the CDC after all of their bumbles of this. If you want to play armchair monday morning quarterback, there's blame for Trump, Pelosi, Deblasio, Obama, Bush.. you name it. If a meteor hit the earth, I swear people would want to blame Trump for not having built a shield to protect the earth. The human race deals with massive enemies generationally. Some have been other humans, others plagues and natural disasters. We need to denounce the media and politicians who are clearly only interested in politicizing this, and that's most MSM sadly. While I don't enjoy being nasty to people, I don't cry many tears for journalists if Trump is nasty to them when it comes to these matters. If they're still in "how can this help us politically" realm, they need the wake-up call. Get with it.

Meanwhile, the WHO needs to be labeled as the Chinese propaganda organization for which they are. China needs to answer for their diabolical wrecklessness after this gets contained.

Trump's China travel restriction was a nothingburger in the big picture....of preparing the country.

Schumer called for steps to be taken Nationally on Jan. 26th.

Trump responding to his intelligence agencies and anti science advisors.

When 100% of the Democrat establishment is focusing solely on impeaching Trump, little else probably gets done, at least I would think it wouldn't.

Hell, Democrats probably thought any mention of Coronavirus by Republicans and Trump was a ploy to get focus OFF of impeachment.

The truth is, the CDC said Coronavirus was identified in America on Jan 15th. The Democrats... didn't care, and were feverishly still working on digging for mythical evidence that wasn't found yet...

Enough with the negative framing. For Example: Why didn't the Democrats care after Jan 15th? Is blood on their hands?

That type of questioning doesn't even deserve to be addressed for how manipulative and just outright stupid it is. Yet, it's common among media members when putting Trump's day-to-day happenings under a microscope, and shredding him despite NOBODY knew how this would play out.

The narrative is completely bogus, but it's anti-Trump, so, it's what's being reported.

Can you either give a link to the WHO saying that there is NOTHING to worry about or admit that you made that up?

There is a long distance between saying that some travel bans are unnecessary and there is nothing to worry about.

The links on the WHO site where they said it could be transmitted from human to human and the link where they said travel bans are not needed no longer go to the text. Instead the links say the page cannot be found. So they have removed them. Conveniently.

I don't give a damn about WHO saying that travel bans were not necessary at this time. I'm calling you out on claiming that they said there was NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. They never said that. You claimed they did.

The truth is that if they had said that it would have been reported all over the world not just at one link. Stop trying to weasel out of you false claims.

Just google it then. It's all over the place that they said it couldn't be transferred from human to human and that no country should do travel bans but yes those links have been deleted from their website.
