God of War
Governor
... tidbits for public consumption and analysis.
Pelosi goes to Taiwan and spends many, many hours with TSMC's CEO (apparent beneficiary of the Chips Act). Why does Pelosi delay the Chips Act while her husband marshalls millions to buy Nvidia stocks prior to the Act's approval?
Subsequent to Pelosi's visit to Taiwan China says they will not participate in any global warming accords and they will not act to end their participation in the fentanyl drug trade. ha ha ... saying out loud what is already policy is pretty interesting.
China starts practicing the air and naval blockade of Taiwan that was predictable all along. But of course this was long pre-planned to be able to pull it off when Pelosi left on her jet plane. ha ha
What did Pelosi say was her intent in visiting Taiwan again?
"To have peace in the Taiwan Straits and to have the status quo prevail."
Well, I don't know. I'm glad Taiwan is being recognized but not sufficiently to secure them from a blockade by China as far as diplomatic cover should offer. If Taiwan is not recognized as a free entity onto itself China will have a moral prerogative to blockade Taiwan meaning diplomacy will be obviated right from the start.
