VERY compelling testimony at the J6 hearing today

You've got nothing again in terms of memory. Think back to Atalanta. Even Minneapolis... I'd rather have a knee on my neck than being shot in the neck.
Again...what cop in Atlanta did I say was bad? I did say that the cop who killed Floyd was guilty of murder, which the jury agreed with.

I did not say that. Kavanaugh was always considered a right wing activist and political operative up until he was appointed as a federal judge. I think that he, Gorsuch and Coney Barrett were untruthful in their Senate hearings regarding ROE v Wade. It seems that Senators Collins and Murkowski are upset abouth that. They were all pretty slippery and evasive in their hearings. During their confirmation hearings many Democrats had warned that placing people like these three would be the end of Roe v Wade. Right wingers and their news lackeys suggested that the Democrats were just being hysterical and that there was no way that Roe would be reversed. Remember that? I do.
I disagree with your commentary on Kavanaugh. Gorsuch and Barrett were NOT untruthful. I respect our Supreme Court and I respect their decision to send this back to the States. Of course the Democrats were concerned about this issues, they did not want this go to back to the States. So, here we are.

Yes we are. Now I hope the PEOPLE of each state will get a direct vote regarding whether or not the people of their State want to have access to these services. Each state should have a ballot initiative regarding this issue. In that case, I think only a few states would vote for abolition of abortion.

I think Texas, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, Florida, North Carolina would all vote to restore these rights to the women of their state. Regardless, I do not think things will change much for most people as a result of this ruling. My hope is that in every cLise district where a pro life candidate is running, it will be a huge issue for women and that independent women and pro choice Republican women and men will turn out heavily to vote against those candidates. If the people of America vote to abolish abortion, so be it. If they vote to preserve a woman’s choice, so be it. we will see how the people decide in November.

Presently, only 13 states have trigger laws banning abortion

What good does citizens voting do anyway, NC voters voted FOR Voter ID and a federal judge over-ruled the voters!

I have no issue with the people in each state having a say regarding abortion. They of course, also have the right to opt for who they want to represent their State.
Ultimately the choice of who they decide they want in power will be part of that equation. Yes?

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.

The people don’t decide that though, now, do they? The big moneyed interests for via advertising, control of the political parties, gerrymandering, and voter suppression.

Leaving the decision up to the people means not banning abortion. That way, the people who are against it won’t have them while those who think it is right (at least in their own case as with so many “pro-life” folks) will.

If I decided it was a good idea to go to a public building, assault cops and tell them to fvck off when they said to get the hell out. Then smash through locked doors a hooting and a hollering about killing the VP and getting a hold of the House speaker. and windows, I would expect to be shot. Same as if I went into a jewelry store and tried to rob it. I do not know what these imbeciles expected to happen. In my opinion they were idiots who were lied into thinking that they could help keep Trump in power. They were conned and now a few of them are dead and a bunch are in the slammer. Too bad for them, but what are we supposed to do? My take is that casualties were rather minor compared to what they could have been. I noticed that you failed to even consider going to that shit show.
Yeah, it "could have been" as bad a burning down a federal building, and trying to burn down a police station with the cops inside.
