I'm not saying the illness itself is a political hoax.
But possibly the statistics are an inadvertent hoax. Consider this:
1. The coronavirus mortality rate is endlessly reported as "2-3 percent"
2. But that's ONLY the result if we're using official chinese data.
3. Other nations have thousands of infections, but negligible fatalities.
4. The USA has a single fatality.
5. Even the quarantined cruise ship had lower than 1/4 of 1% mortality.
6. My take is that the DIAGNOSED
victims are far lower than actually occurring. Chinas official 2,000 deaths pales in comparison to the USA flu deaths of 8,000.
7. California complained two days ago they only had 200 test lists. So essentially, they6ve tested ALMOST NOBODY.
8. If infection rates in china are under-reported due to misdiagnosis as ordinary flu, or no diagnosis at all due to lack of medical access, and also official Chinese misrepresentation of the infection rare ( which the WHO is now accusing them of, from the very start) then chinas 2,000 deaths could look almost benign against an infection rate of 50-100 million.
About the same ate of this season's USA flu mortality.
Stand by for the media frenzy when the second American patient inevitably dies. But lets also to ignore the hundreds dying EACH WEEK in america from garden variety flu .
The coronavirus statistics and hype dont stand up well to rational analysis.
You may now proceed with stocking up on: face masks; canned gooods: bottled water; gasoline; candles, and ammo.
Enjoy the rush.
The average corona virus carriers thinks he or she has the flu, or isnt showing ANY symptoms.
The average american is an idiot when it comes to statistics. The average reporter is probably worse, with a degree in "communication arts" or "political science".
