The senate report says Dempsey got orders from Obama. Does it matter where or how he issued those orders in a thread about Trump inciting a riot and watching it on TV for three hours while issuing no orders at all?

Clearly the idea is to minimize the damage done by Trump's big lie. We shouldn't be upset. Outrage at the violence done by his supporters on 1/6 is a sign of a mental health issue. According to him, we should just "move on". Obviously if we continue on this path Trump won't be on the ballot in 2024, if we find evidence of a conspiracy in communications between the White House, Proud Boys, OathKeepers and other rioters.
He can't even discuss the issues and instead deflects the conversation to his "concerns" that anyone who is interested in the 1/6 hearings is obsessed.

He issued orders to “do whatever is necessary to support our people in Libya” and mobilize “all possible resources.” He had an hour-long conference call with the Pentagon’s Europe Command, Central Command, and Africa Command to discuss options. He then had an hour-long meeting with VP Biden, CIA head Biden, Joint Chiefs Chairman Dempsey, and other Pentagon and DOD officials about the situation in Benghazi. Then he left for debate prep.
We know what Trump did on 1/6 … violated his oath of office by deliberately choosing not to interfere with the coup attempt.
