It’s mostly capitalism destroying “our” institutions … but also the leftist resistance it spawns. That destruction is two-sided … on the one hand it is a sweeping away of an archaic, barbaric , animalistic past … on the other capitalism generally makes no provision to remedy the loss of the relief, however pitiful, these institutions provide from the harshness of nature and unconscious (money-driven) culture.

Right now I think we have people who don't care about our laws and institutions and are willing to see them fall in order to gain power. These prosecutors who keep letting dangerous people back onto the streets, the burning and looting with literally no charges, even these protestors breaking federal laws by trying to influence judicial decisions and not one of them arrested.

It's really a shame that some people care more about their agenda than about the society they were sworn by oath to protect.

Prosecutors mostly let dangerous people back on the street because they are informers helping the state go after its main enemies … labor organizers, leftists, and dissidents.
