If the Republicans can reverse the disastrous anti-fossil-fuels executive orders of Joe, it might take a few months, depending on items like weather, demand, the economy.
Let's remember that Ronald Reagan took the oath of office with historically high gasoline prices at the time. On his first day in office, his executive orders decontrolled oil, (including overturning that communist Windfall Profits Tax) and gasoline prices plummeted.
Hard to say how long, but if the Republicans can shut down Joe and reverse those policies, we could see gasoline prices back down to Trump era levels, say $1.89 to $2.50. Maybe less.
Hell, during the first term of George W. Bush, the Wall Street Journal was speculating that gasoline would drop to a dollar a gallon, based on Bush's policies. The guy was a centrist, almost liberal, but he was an oil man who understood how things work.
