We have no idea the context of his comments, but given that it is from Project Veritas it is pretty much a guarantee that it's not the context they claim it is ... for all we know, he is talking about Fox's editorial standards and they are presenting it as if he is talking about CNN's.

The context of his comments is obvious. There is enough before and after to demonstrate that. But if you think they are taken out of context then that assertion is yours. As is the burden of proof.

He's got a string of successful lawsuits a mile long. Now he's got NYT and CNN and things are looking very good for those as well.

If by "successful lawsuits" you mean "being sued and prosecuted successfully."

The undercover expose shows CNN Technical Director Charlie Chester on Tinder dates revealing to his undercover date that what they actually do at CNN is propaganda—that they do everything they can to accentuate the flaws of Trump no matter how minor and down play the flaws of Biden no matter how major.

Question to you liberals: Do you feel lied to? Duped? Played a fool? Do you feel like 1984 has arrived and you’re on the wrong side of that story? Are you sorry you ever believed anything CNN said?

Or do you double down because your ego is too delicate to stand a little scrutiny?

Full disclosure: This is not about Foxnews. I don’t even like Foxnews. Try to focus on CNN. It’s about your budding cognitive dissonance between your desire to be informed and the reality of your dealer/addict relationship with CNN propaganda.

Part 1 of 3. YouTube still works. Find parts 2 and 3.
What is Charlie Chester's job at CNN? Did he decide on content? Was he tellling us something he actually can testify as to specific coverage or was he in charge of equipment, systems configurations etc....?

What does a "Technical Director" actually do? Was he simply expressing his opinions and not actual knowledge?

Here is the job description:
Direct newscast tapings in the control room, including communicating with talent, producers, or audio operators
Operate Sony switcher, cueing video, graphics, and other elements for playback during stories
Maintain quality control for all control room elements, cameras, and audio to ensure taping is at the highest quality
possible

Why doesn't Veritas get someone from Fox, OANN, Newsmax, InfoWars, Brietbart or WorldNewsDaily?

Veritas paid an Acorn employee $150,000 for defamation. O'Keefe has been banned from fundraising in a number of states because Veritas did not disclose his felony convictions.

In a number of instances O'Keefe and Veritas have been found to be setting up stings...such as the attempt to get a vote fraud operation going in the case of Jim Moran who was running for congress. At no time did his son agree to the scheme, but the Veritas video was edited in such a way as to make it seem like he was telling the Veritas employee to go ahead.

On January 9, 2017, Project Veritas operative Allison Maass was filmed attempting to bribe members of Americans Take Action into inciting a riot at Trump's inauguration.

Why do chumps and suckers keep dipping into the well of this proven scam artist ?

Are you that desperate for talking points.

The fact is nobody could make Trump look worse than Trump.

Hell, look at how many times he made you look bad when you and your cult would defend him on something. Then he would come out and admit what he was accused of, leaving his defenders looking like a bunch of dopes.

This happened time and time again, yet you whine about CNN.

Your cult is a joke and O'Keefe is one of the jesters making fun of you to your face, and you don't even realize it.

In other words he watches the news show that other people make.

He's pretty much just another viewer with an opinion, and more features on his remote control.

Project Veritas is an American far-right[38] activist group founded by James O'Keefe in 2010.[42] The group produces deceptively edited videos[24] of its undercover operations,[16] which use secret recordings[17] in an effort to discredit mainstream media organizations and progressive groups.[50][51] Project Veritas uses entrapment[23] to generate bad publicity for its targets,[2] and has propagated disinformation[14] and conspiracy theories[58] in its videos and operations.
Targets of Project Veritas include Planned Parenthood, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), NPR, CNN, and The Washington Post. In 2009, Project Veritas associates published misleading[2] videos that depicted ACORN employees providing advice on concealing illegal activity, causing ACORN to shut down after losing funding;[5] ACORN was cleared of wrongdoing by the Attorney General of California in 2010,[2] and the associates paid a total of $150,000 in settlements to an ACORN employee who sued for defamation.[2] NPR CEO Vivian Schiller resigned in 2013 after Project Veritas released a deceptively[2][5] edited video portraying another NPR executive making controversial comments about the Tea Party movement and NPR's federal funding.[59] Project Veritas unsuccessfully attempted to mislead The Washington Post into publishing false information about the Roy Moore sexual misconduct allegations in 2017;[4][50] the Post won a Pulitzer Prize after uncovering the operation.[18][60]
As a non-governmental organization, Project Veritas is financed by conservative fund Donors Trust[2] (which provided over $6.6 million from 2011 to 2019)[50][61][62] and other supporters including the Donald J. Trump Foundation.[6] In 2020, The New York Times published an exposé detailing Project Veritas' use of spies recruited by Erik Prince, to infiltrate "Democratic congressional campaigns, labor organizations and other groups considered hostile to the Trump agenda". The Times piece notes O'Keefe's and Prince's close links to the Trump administration, and details contributions such as a $1 million transfer of funds from an undisclosed source to support their work. The findings were based in part on discovery documents in a case brought by the American Federation of Teachers, Michigan, which had been infiltrated by Project Veritas.[63]

Why did Project Veritas get banned from Twitter?
Project Veritas and founder James O'Keefe have both been permanently banned from Twitter for allegedly violating the platform's terms of service.O'Keefe has sued Twitter over the suspension of his personal account, arguing that the platform falsely claimed he created fake accounts.

Surprise, Surprise: Reports Debunk Viral Project Veritas Video About Harvesting Ballots | HuffPost

A viral video produced by the fraudulent far-right propaganda outlet Project Veritas and widely promoted by major Republican figures, which claimed to show Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar’s reelection campaign illegally collecting ballots in Minnesota, continues to be discredited.
Multiple media reports since the video was published on Sept. 27 have detailed ways in which Project Veritas used untrustworthy sources and deceptively edited clips to smear Omar, who is the frequent target of right-wing attacks.
The Project Veritas video, produced by the organization’s head huckster James O’Keefe, was promoted by President Donald Trump on Twitter and purports to show that Omar committed election fraud by hiring people to “harvest ballots” in exchange for money.

But on Monday, the Minneapolis-based Fox affiliate KMSP published an explosive exclusive interview with a Minneapolis man named Liban Osman, a main subject of the video, who recounted how a man working with Project Veritas had offered him $10,000 to claim that he was harvesting ballots for Omar. Osman told KMSP he rejected the offer

What lawsuits has he won? He has a string of lawsuits he has filed...

His lawsuit against the NYTimes is a defamation suit because the Times said Veritas has no evidence to back up their claim of voter fraud in Minnesota. Veritas has actually not produced any evidence of fraud. They have a very edited interview with some individual claiming to belong to the Somali Wachdog group. It seems to have one member and was founded on August 17, 2020. Veritas refuses to release the entire video and now the guy interviewed says Veritas offered him $10,000 to say he was harvesting ballots.

Veritas was behind the report from the Erie postal worker claiming he knew of backdated ballots. Veritas is being sued by the postmaster there.
In March 2015, former Director of Operations of Project Veritas Rich Valdes told Media Matters that he had been fired over his unwillingness to "strong-arm" an undercover operative into baiting protesters at a rally against police brutality. According to Media Matters, which also reviewed copies of emails related to the incident, Valdes said:

"O'Keefe wanted him to send the other activist, whom Valdes describes as a 'Muslim operative,' to a January National Action Network event related to the case of Eric Garner, an unarmed black man who died after being put in a chokehold by a New York police officer in July 2014.[26] "'In this particular situation, James came to my desk and asked me to send this particular operative into the field,' Valdes recalls about the incident, which he says took place in the organization's Mamaroneck, N.Y., offices. 'And he was really anxious and he said, 'do whatever it takes, do whatever it takes, tell him to say whatever he's got to say, get me the content.' Content is king.'"[26]
According to Valdes, the operative, who was Muslim, was hesitant about doing the project, worried about its legality and about its intellectual honesty.

"This particular situation, he made the case that in the past when we were out there, we were just exposing stuff that was already going on, he felt the difference with this ... he felt that what we were trying to achieve, or what James was asking him to do, was to kind of dupe people into saying something they would not ordinarily say and he took exception to that, and of course I respected that."

O'Keefe has also been found guilty in an attempt to bug a Senator's office.

He lost a lawsuit filed by former Acorn employees and had to pay out $150,000 to them for defamation.

Salaries for O'Keefe and his small staff amounted to $3 million i 2018. The tax documents are in the SourceWatch link. He paid himself $387,000...

Ignore the facts much? I posted his job description. He has no influence over content. He is a technical guy...making sure that video effects are in place, Operating video equipment.
And. . ?

And has no access to his bosses directives? Intentions? Motivations? Is that what you’re getting at?

The level of white washing and self gaslighting is amazing!

What is amazing is your willingness to pretend to have access to info that clearly you do not. Basically this guy is a technician. He would have no access to editorial directives. He is expressing an opinion...nothing more.

Feel free to provide any evidence that backs you up...but I won't hold my breath.
