The same principle (that a woman’s body is not her own) that gives rise to abortion restriction also gives rise to rape, which does put Lesbians in the position of needing abortions. Being twice discriminated against—as women and as Lesbians—at the least, Lesbians also tend to be more compassionate than for example straight men, all other things being equal, and to respect the human rights of those who are not exactly like them.
