Why do the media hide Trump’s dementia?

He exhibits FAR more cognitive issues and mental illness than Biden ever could. But the media largely ignore it while yammering for weeks on end if Biden uses the wrong word (as we all do)…

The double standard is striking. Who accused Nikki Haley of failing to provide security on January 6? Trump. Who forgot which country Orban leads? Trump. Who said windmills are killing whales? Trump. Who babbled about the use of airports during the Revolutionary War? Trump. On and on we could go.

But the media and anti-Biden carpers just can’t stop yapping about Biden’s brainfart when discussing the Egypt/Gaza border, mistakenly saying “Mexico” when referring to Egypt’s president, al Sisi (while the carpers had no idea who Egypt’s president was).

Can anyone say why the media and the carpers ignore the obvious mental defects of the guy who faces 91 felony counts after being found liable for sexual assault and numerous cases of fraud?

Anyone?

Trump has to be competitive to sell newspapers, get clicks, etc. But if voters are given a balanced portrayal he won't be.

So if President Trump "exhibits FAR more cognitive issues and mental illness than Biden ever could" you're all for having all charges against him dropped, correct? That's rhetorical, anyone whose read anything you've posted already knows the answer.

Huh? Such a strange proposition. Trump committed crimes and he should pay for them. The fact that he has cognitive and mental health issues doesn’t change that. Of course, he could argue that he’s too insane to stand trial, but that’s his argument to make.

Again...because it doesn't seem to sink in....here was the conclusion of the report.

We have concluded that there is not a prosecutable case against Biden. Although there was a basis to open the investigation based on the fact that classified documents were found in Biden’s homes and office space, that is insufficient to establish a crime was committed. The illegal retention or dissemination of national defense information requires that he knew of the existence of such documents and that he knew they contained national defense information. It is not a crime without those additional elements. Our investigation, after a thorough year-long review, concludes that there is an absence of such necessary proof. Indeed, we have found a number of innocent explanations as to which we found no contrary evidence to refute them and found affirmative evidence in support of them.

Saying he wasn't going to indict Joe is silly. He didn't have the authority to indict the sitting president. He could only refer to the House of Representatives to impeach him...hardly a sympathetic jury.

The gratuitous bullshit about not pressing charges because Joe would be too sympathetic a defendant is the dumbest crap ever. The "sympathetic jury" would be the House of Representatives in an impeachment hearing.

Yup, and prosecutors never count on putting the defendant before the jury - defendants don’t have to testify. Prosecutors bring cases when they have the independent evidence to do so. Hur obviously knew that he didn’t have such evidence, so he just slimed Biden instead.

Notice that Trump did not testify in either of his impeachments.

Yup. Avoiding cross-examination made it easier for him to keep telling his cultists that he “made a perfect phone call” when seeking to extort Zelensky, and that he just “exercised free speech” on J6.
