Wallace also remained a right-winger till his death, like all segregationists.

So, they can get I.D. like every other American.
What good is an ID if your vote is suppressed? This shit is happening all over the country with racist right wingers holding control.

Do you think you will gain support from the black community by making statements like that? You must have a pretty low opinion of them to imply that they are submitting to the democratic party.

Instead of accepting that they have the ability and the right to support any party or candidate, you try to insult them by saying they'd change their votes for a free bottle of water or that they vote for racists.
I guess since your party pretends to be their masters you are asking the wrong person this question.

actually it is you pretending that the democratic party pretends to be their masters. You pretend they are so stupid as to pay attention to right wingers like you....

"Hey...them Dems think they are your masters!". Meanwhile they look at which party elects people to office who look like them. How many minorities were in Trump's cabinet? Two? Which party elected a black man president?

PS...I'm a registered independent.

So why limit voting on Sundays? Because black churches were organizing to get people to leave church and go vote.

Why make it illegal to hand water out to people standing in line?
Because the other way you discourage voters is by limiting polling places and voting machines...creating long lines in districts known to vote for democrats...

Why limit absentee voting?
Because people can't always take time off to go to stand in line to vote...

Why take responsibility for enforcing election law away from the Secretary of State?
Because then if the SoS doesn't "find" the votes to make the republican candidate the winner...the republican legislature can appoint someone who will.

Why restrict donations to elections boards?
Because as long as the republicans can limit resources for urban areas they can make voting even more inconvenient.

Voter id is a red herring. Republicans are using to hide all the other restrictions they want to implement.

Wallace was a (D) elected as a (D) governor 1983-1987.

But anyone can learn from their mistakes and are welcome to leave the Party of slavery and segregation. When will you leave, or do you desire more racism?

You know I’m not a Democrat, right? And that most of Wallace’s fellow conservatives are now Republicans?

Jim Crow? You are Jim Crow. You should have joined the party of ending slavery and individual rights, not the party of Jim Crow. You lose. Try again phony socialist.
Northern liberals fought a war against southern conservatives....

There were both democrats and republicans in blue uniforms.

When the democrats wrote legislation in 1964 and passed it with bipartisan support and that bill was signed by a democrat, the southerners slowly began to switch parties. So did northerners. Now the south is reliably republican and the north and west are reliably democrats.

Hardly any blacks are elected to office as republicans....meanwhile the dems elected a black man president.

Republicans passed that legislation in by 1872, and your so-called Northen liberals on the Court supported segregation 1896 Plessy v Ferguson.

The Republican Party was not so badly split as the Democrats by the civil rights issue. Only one Republican senator participated in the filibuster against the bill. In fact, since 1933, Republicans had a more positive record on civil rights than the Democrats. In the twenty-six major civil rights votes since 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 % of the votes. By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 % of the votes.

He's rolling in his grave after seeing what the republican party has became.
