Both. The focus for the left is Israel’s government and its racist, colonialist policies. The focus for the right is Jews and the alleged Soros agenda.Who are the ones out rallying against the Jews and Israel right now, the right or the left?
That's because only lefties "widely recognize" that fascism as right wing (only). Of course, any reasonable person looks at the movement's tactics and not the ideology behind it. Fascism is simply the use of identity and force to control a populationThe Fascist Syndicalists differed from other forms of fascism in that they generally favored class struggle, worker-controlled factories and hostility to industrialists, which lead historians to portray them as "leftist fascist idealists" who "differed radically from right fascists."[3] Generally considered one of the more radical Fascist syndicalists in Italy, Rossoni was the "leading exponent of fascist syndicalism".,[4] and sought to infuse nationalism with "class struggle"
I don't see anything about the wikipedia article that actually addresses the widely recognized features of fascism. Is a union capable of military action? Nope. Do the unions of the day oppose a free press or democratic elections? No. A fascist government is anti-labor union. It is pro-business. The definition in Wiki is anti-business...closer to communism, in my opinion.
I am against the destruction of Gaza, myself. I also think there should be a cease fire. But I don't support what the Palestinians are doing to Israel either. Those demonstrating on behalf of the Palestinians at this point (and not for peace from both sides) would appear to be antisemitic, no?So you think that is evidence of fascism? You claimed to be anti-war...over 11,000 dead in Gaza...
I think there should be a ceasefire...doesn't mean I hate the Jews.
So where is your proof that the dems are fascists?

Where is the proof that dems are fascists? Right before your very eyes:

I graciously accept your concession that fascism is not (inherently) a right wing movement. in that you now accede that It is available to any political group who seek to demonize their political enemies and use force in order to gain political power, and then go about using the levers of government to extinguish their opposition.
At this juncture, the left is clearly more fascist than the right, which, since the left has become the party of censorship and war, has become the only port in a storm for libertarians.

The democrats' constant chorus of "MAGA are a threat to democracy."Complete and fact free bullshit..check.
How about offering examples of these points?
Angry rhetoric? Trump's "vermin" speech....aimed at them...
"Master race"? Er, what?
What censorship? Could you be talking about Trump's war on the media?
In fact...it is so obvious that you can't come up with credible examples. In fact, it is "obvious." Which of the items on that list do you need "proof" of?
I'm not sure what your line of thinking is here. People call people names all the time. In fact, Trump is particularly good at it. That's not "fascist." Fascism is a group (remember, you posted its origin) that uses its combined strength, amplified by a controlled media, to demonize a group or class or race of people it seeks to scapegoat as the cause of all of the nation's problems. In fact...it is so obvious that you can't come up with credible examples.
Angry rhetoric designed to demonize the "out group?" Like when Trump calls the prosecutors in his four legal cases names? He called a clerk in court crooked...evidence? Nah. What did he call Jack Smith? Trump called liberals vermin. Where is your example of democrats doing the same?
Use of state power against them when they do not embrace the preferred orthodoxy? When? Where? How about attempting to reclassify the riot on Jan 6 as a freedom of speech issue and attempting to declare the judicial system as a weapon used against him?
Identity politics uber alles? When? Where? How about an example?
Censorship of non-aligned language? Are you seriously suggesting that Twitter's two day censorship of the laptop story is an example of censorship of non-aligned language?
According to the Twitter files it was more about the source and whether or not the laptop had been hacked. Have you seen Florida's effort to censor math books?
Corporatism? Got an example?
Indoctrination of youth? In fact the right wing has engaged in eliminating key events in our history to remove accounts of the Tulsa Massacre or even trying to tell our youth that slavery wasn't all bad.
Weird medical experiments in an effort to produce a "master race?" This is borderline tin foil hat batshit. surgery for transgenders has been around for decades. I've actually come into contact with maybe six transgendered people in my entire life. In the ten years I've owned the restaurant we've had two employees who were trans.
Your rant is not proof. Yes, people call other people names. Trump encourages violence by his rhetoric. The examples of that are legion. Do you really need me to remind you?I'm not sure what your line of thinking is here. People call people names all the time. In fact, Trump is particularly good at it. That's not "fascist." Yes, the Jan 6 = "insurrection" is a perfect example. Others would be sending the FBI after parents who don't like their kids being indoctrinated as little woke warriors. Or religious people praying in public, or the jailing of a guy who posted a political meme while someone from the fascist group gets away with doing the exact same thing.

The idea that the democrats aren't engaging in "identity politics" is beyond absurd. It's all they have at this point.
Censoring anyone who question the "lab leak" theory, or the orthodoxy on masking, or mentioned that the authorities were lying about the efficacy of the vaccine, or lockdowns, calling anyone who criticizes a person of color a "racist," and yes, the efforts to keep a lid on the Hunter laptop story.

The left (obviously) sees transgenders as the "master race" which will deliver what they always wanted, an end to procreation. Once everyone is transgender only test tube babies will be born (and, of course, imbued with the genes that make one a wild eyed progressive) in whatever quantities the lefty pin heads deem "adequate."
That I keep having to point this stuff out to you again and again and again, while you pretend none of it exists, is getting kind of old..

It wasn't for me. Google it - it's real. Lefty teachers have made it their mission to indoctrinate children to be good little progressives.Your link to the teacher's claim of indoctrination is behind a pay wall.
From your link to the Reuter's article:
A small but increasing number of U.S. children diagnosed with gender dysphoria are choosing medical interventions to express their identity and help alleviate their distress.
That would certainly require participation by their parents. Republicans prefer to pass laws making the decision for those people. Democrats are for people making their own decisions.
Do parents have the right to teach racism? Sure. Blacks are inferior...yup. If the school teaches anything about contributions by African Americans to our society, does that interfere with their rights? I guess so. Is that a sign of fascism? Nope.
The “tactics” are inseparable from the origins (the employment of goon squads by the employers against those who threaten their hegemony) and aims (silencing the voice of labor). Everything you associate with the left here is something much more prevalent on the right and in many cases (demonizing rhetoric, identity politics, militarism, corporatism) something you enthusiastically embrace personally. That's because only lefties "widely recognize" that fascism as right wing (only). Really...they are "EVERYWHERE". Where in hell do you live? Pittsburgh? I asked my brother...he still lives there...and in his entire life he has not met one.It wasn't for me. Google it - it's real. Lefty teachers have made it their mission to indoctrinate children to be good little progressives.
Why is the number increasing? Look around - they are everywhere. Is it something in the water? Or have teachers been actively seeking to grow the ranks of the queers. I know what I believe.
In fact the democrats are actively making efforts to allow the teachers to have that influence with no oversight by the parents whatsoever. You deny it is happening so you can pretend it's no big deal.
LOL! By "teaching racism" you mean teaching their kids they aren't (inherently and implicitly) racist. Teachers are teaching that WHITES are "inferior" because we are racist whether we know it or not. That's just fine with you, because, God forbid someone would neglect to teach a kid about the "Tulsa Massacre" because, lets face it, it only happened like yesterday so they need to be constantly reminded how evil they are because they are, well, too "white."
So no need to teach about World War II...cuz it was so yesterday...right? God save us from your version of history...because we'll be repeating the worst of it.It wasn't for me. Google it - it's real. Lefty teachers have made it their mission to indoctrinate children to be good little progressives.

WWII does not equal the "Tulsa Massacre." Besides, I'm okay with not teaching WWII - the "approved" (progressive) version of that history is that it was inevitable (which, of course) supports the "forever war" agenda. Maybe if we stopped teaching about the glory of war, we'd stop constantly waging it.So no need to teach about World War II...cuz it was so yesterday...right? God save us from your version of history...because we'll be repeating the worst of it.
Wait, what? You have no idea what he does for a living but you do know that he has never seen a queer? LOL!Really...they are "EVERYWHERE". Where in hell do you live? Pittsburgh? I asked my brother...he still lives there...and in his entire life he has not met one.
Do you really think someone can be persuaded to give up sex with the opposite gender? Sounds pretty much like bullshit to me. Face it...this kind of crap is much like the "war on Christmas" or the "communists are everywhere" kind of shit the republicans come up with to avoid talking about real issues.
Nobody is telling kids they should feel inferior because they are white. They are teaching them "Might makes right" and "America, love it or leave it"....
What is wrong with teaching the truth? There was a riot in which the black part of Tulsa was burned down. There were riots in other parts of the south aimed to drive blacks out. There was also an ongoing war against Native Americans...We stole Hawaii.
America is not always perfect. Should we avoid teaching about the mistakes our leaders have made?
Yep...it isn't a problem that you're a liar...not at all.Wait, what? You have no idea what he does for a living but you do know that he has never seen a queer? LOL!
Tell him to go to the mall...or the library...or take a walk downtown.
Yeah, no kids get talked into sending naked photos of themselves to perverts, or taking pills that have fentanyl in them, or kill themselves with dangerous driving, because they never do something stupid just to fit in. Talk about bullsh*t...
LOL! What/ There are literally ZERO teachers telling their students "America, love it or leave it." What are you on?
There is nothing wrong with teaching the "truth." You know, like that masks don't work, or that Ukraine is losing the war we have them fighting on our behalf, or that the US government is almost quite literally bankrupt...but you seem fixated on "teaching" them again and again about the "Tulsa Massacre" like they are going to school on groundhog day.
Of course we should teach about the mistakes our leaders have made - like treating covid like it was randomly killing perfectly healthy people, or embracing a "green agenda" that is worse for the planet than burning fossil fuels, or that engaging in proxy wars and opening the border has bankrupted the country.
The problem here is that you think only Republicans make "mistakes."
