Looks like a combination of very obvious things, things that are only consonant with science by very strained interpretations, lucky guesses, genuine proof-scientific discovery, and baseless speculation. The Bible got about as much right as any other Late Bronze Age/Iron Age scripture, and also got many things blatantly wrong.
