Germany did have a constitution with a bill of rights and checks and balances. It didn’t stop him. Hitler’s politics were anti-union and pro-privatization, which is why big business loved him.
No argument there about big business loving Hitler. He developed a permanent war time economy and went to war against his neighbors. War is always good for business until you start to lose and the enemy blows up everything you have.
But Hitler was a socialist and without war and neighbors to steal from, he would have not have lasted very long.

If big business loved him, he was a capitalist.

Capitalism doesn't, by its very nature, purposely destroy itself. Socialism does.
Perhaps we are using the words in different ways. I am using them the way Marx used them ... by “capitalism” I mean ownership of the means of production by private investors and by “socialism” I mean ownership of the means of production by workers and their organizations.

Ownership of the means of production by workers and their organizations is not socialism, it's capitalism, no different from ownership by private investors.
Socialism is the first stage of communism, ownership of the means of production by the state (government) and it has never worked for an extended period of time. It destroys personal initiative and diminishes production. It will not work in The United States. It's a false dream entertained by fools.

A workers’ state is a workers’ organization. Nazi Germany did NOT have ownership of the means of production by the state. In fact, they introduced “privatization” (coined to describe Nazi policy) to turn state assets over to private individuals.

If socialism were unworkable, it wouldn’t be necessary for the U.S. to kill millions and spend trillions sabotaging it.

What does ABORTION have to do with socialism being unworkable?
