Pocket change compared to the trillions that Obama added to the national debt.
And the money Trump spends on campaign rallies is money well spent. It is a good investment because it is an investment in ridding this country of Democrat presence in Congress and influence in American affairs.

I agree, Trump could easily pay for his own trip to rallies but the other side will never agree to abide by the same rule.
It would be hard to implement this practise because the president has to have so much security, security that only AF 1 can provide for such events. And it would be hard for them to reimburse the government for their travel expenses. The costs would unbelievable.
Each side just has to suck it up and know that it's going to happen. I find it gratifying that the Libs are upset over Trump's rallies. It especially galls them that he typically draws 20,000 people when their candidate have a hard time filling up a mini-van.

This isn’t about your incorrigible lie seeking to blame Obama for the deficits GWB passed along.

This is about Trump turning the 4th of July celebration into his campaign event, jacking up the costs in the process, and passing those campaign costs onto the taxpayers. Why does Trump do such things? Because he knows that you and the rest of the rabble will applaud him for it.
