What is wrong with requiring blacks meet the same academic standards as whites and asians? The problem is equal standards mean about 3 blacks in the whole country get accepted at medical schools . Most black applicants would flunk the GED!

july 4 2018 The lobby for hundreds of medical schools and teaching hospitals Wednesday said it was “deeply concerned” that the Trump administration was rescinding guidance on consideration of race in university admissions.

The 4th of July announcement by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) comes after U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions rescinded 24 Obama-era guidance documents on affirmative action the Trump justice department said were “unnecessary, outdated, inconsistent with existing law or otherwise improper.” A joint letter from the Justice Department and the Department of Education said the Obama administration advocated policy and "positions beyond the requirements of the Constitution,” the New York Times reported.

Here's an article that talks about the huge amount of privilege black applicants to medical college get. A GPA and MCAT that would get an asian accepted at 6% of the schools will get a black admission at 56%!!!
