Apparently Obama has now decided to wait until after the mid term elections to act on immigration reform. Could this be a purely political move on his part? You bet your bippy it is. 76% of Americans oppose granting across the board amnesty to illegals. Obama knows that if he does this it will sink his party even further in the tank and hurt Democrats that are up for re election in 2014. Obama on the other hand perpetuates the entitlement state and he favors granting illegals rights, like the right to vote, obtain a drivers license, get food stamps, obtain welfare, send their children to public school, get free medical care, have an Obama phone and a host of other benefits. With millions of illegals flooding in on our southern boarder you are talking about a hell of a lot of money being spent to support these people all at taxpayer expense. Obama flat out refuses to enforce our immigration laws much less secure the border. Why does he do this? Simple, votes, he knows that by granting amnesty to illegals he and the Democrats will be rewarded with their vote, it is a simple equation, more illegals equals more votes. Is this actually legal? No it is not, but Obama has never seen a law that he could not break when it benefits his political agenda. Illegals can now literally stroll across our border, many do, and now it has gotten so bad that when they enter illegally they themselves are searching for the Border Patrol, because they know they will not be kicked out, but they will be taken care of. They will be given shelter, food, transportation and medical care. For some this is a God send. What actually should happen is that our border should and could be secured, then and only then could we focus on a fair and honest way to deal with the some 20 million illegals already in this country. This will never happen on the Obama watch. It is now costing the taxpayer literally billions to support these people and they all broke the law to get here. I mean really, what is wrong with this picture? Just one thing, Obama.
