Obama only job losses wiped out

Spamature

The number of unemployed Americans stood at 12,860,000 the first full month of Obama's presidency. As of Feb 2012 the number stands at 12,806,000.

Now If only the Republicans would shut up and get out of the way. America could knock off another million those Bush job losses by election day.

Fiction. Obama's idea of job creation is to decrease the size of work force participation.

For instance, this months economic report states that 120,000 jobs were created when in fact we lost a net 15,000 jobs.

Obama's propagandists at the labor department simply took 135,000 people out of the workforce and said they weren't looking for jobs, even though they remained unemployed.

He's done this continually every month since he was elected.

If we calculated the unemployment rate and used the same workforce size as when he took office, the actual unemployment rate would be 11.8%, and in fact, that's what it really is.

Propaganda does not equate with reality..

And you can see it in the GDP numbers, which suck.

But naturally, he's blaming Republicans. Evidently he's totally blameless for everything. It's those damn Republicans and those damn ATMs and the oil companies and the insurance companies and Fox News and Talk Radio and the Supreme Court and Israel and the Tea Party. Poor Poor Poor Obama.

And, the accounting for people who have given up looking for work and/or rolled off unemployed roster is where? The accounting for the number of people in their mid sixties who ultimately opted for social security rather than working another 5 - 10 years is where? When overall we employ more people than we did prior to Obama, then someone can take credit for improving jobs.

I didn't give you percentages. I gave you the raw numbers. And the raw numbers say there are more people employed now than at the end of his first full month as president.

Plain and simple the number of job gains have exceeded the number of losses. Which is something the right ranted and raved about. Now you're looking for excuses to minimize and spin that fact.

You might want to study what a workforce is so you don't fall for propaganda.

There are more people entering the work force than leaving it. There are LESS working age people employed than when Obama took office. And there are more working people unemployed than when Obama took office.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/nfp-big-miss-120k-expectations-205k-unemployment-82

Then if you go here and look on the left hand side of the National Debt Clock it shows the number of people that are ACTUALLY unemployed at 22 million and the number of people that Obama counts as unemployed as 12 million.

Hope this helps you understand the manipulation of statistics coming out of this Administration to create a virtual economy. People live in the real economy, not Obama's virtual economy.

Hogwash !

Your adding in the number of people who have come into or left the labor force is a side issue. You talk about the country losing 15k jobs

Yeah the number of people employed shrank from 142,065,000 to 142,034,000
But the workforce shrank in the same month from 154,871,000 to 154,707,000

Which goes to what she was talking about.

But none of that displaces the simple fact that more people working and fewer people unemployed today than after Obama's first full month in office.

FEB 2009

At the end of Obama's first full month in office there 141,660,000 employed in this country

Considering that the job loss free fall started under him and all of them would be attributed to him in a third term. Bush would be so far under water in job losses that you'd have to call in James Cameron to document those numbers.

Let me get this straight. After three years and more debt than Bush created in eight, Nerobama has only 'created' some 50,000 jobs?

And you want to give this turd another four years?

You have GOT to be kidding.

Well if you look at it that way. Bush didn't create any jobs . In fact he went from 6,089,000 unemployed in his first full month as president to 12,049,000 unemployed at the end of his last month he was president.

What's worse. By the time the free fall that started on his watch bottomed out in 2009. There were only 356,000 more people employed in the entire country than there were after his first full month in office in Feb 2001.

Right now there are already 374,000 more people employed under Obama than there were after his first full month in office.

You neglected to mention the several million workers who were dropped off the employment rolls by Obamanomics. Had the Regime not played these silly games the unemployment rate would be 10.9% so 10.9% IS the actual unemployment rate now.

Again ! It doesn't change the fact that there are fewer people unemployed and more people with jobs than there were after the first full month of his presidency.

Those who were dropped off the rolls, so the unemployment rate could more conveniently be lowered, are STILL unemployed, whether you and Obama want to acknowledge it or not. So the actual unemployment rate is about 10.9%

How are you not getting this ? There are more people with jobs now than there were people with jobs 3yrs ago at the beginning of his presidency. That means numerically the losses on his watch have been erased by job gains.

That has nothing to do with what you are talking about.

3 years and Trillions (That's TRILLIONS) of dollars later.

Oh, and Bush isn't president.

Obama is.
What was the deficit announced to be 2 weeks before he took office. Do you remember ? Now you're ranting that he didn't try to get a handle on the deficit and a sinking economy at the same time. Which is the same as arguing for austerity. Which as evidenced in Europe is currently a failing proposition were they are seeing both higher deficits and increasing unemployment.
