A New York Yankees fan has filed a $10 million lawsuit against two ESPN announcers claiming they mocked him when he was caught on national television sleeping in his seat during a game.

Andrew Robert Rector admits in court documents he "napped" during a game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium on April 13, but says commentators Dan Shulman and John Kruk unleashed an "avalanche of disparaging words" against him.
The typo-ridden lawsuit says the announcers made “false statements” about Rector and suggested that he “is a fatty cow that need two seats at all time and represent symbol of failure,” according to the New York Post.
It adds that Rector was described to be “a confused individual that neither understands nor knows anything about history and the meaning of rivalry between Red Sox and New York Yankee.”

Rector, 26, says he suffered "substantial injury" to his "character and reputation" and "mental anguish, loss of future income and loss of earning capacity."

Funny, I didn't hear this part... 'is a fatty cow that need two seats at all time and represent symbol of failure'... or about the 'history and the meaning of the rivalry...' did you?

I think the broadcasters ought to counter sue this fat slob for 'substantial injury to their character and reputation'. I'd be willing to bet their counter suit wouldn't be riddle with typos.

While he's at it, the fat fvck can sue me too. I dare him.
