By refusing to use overwhelming air power to blunt the Taliban's rise, Joe Biden is failing to protect American interests in Afghanistan and ultimately undermining national security.

Joe Biden, not having a very successful presidency, is now going into free fall over the Afghanistan fiasco. Only about month ago, Biden said >> "the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely."

That "highly unlikely" prospect is now not only highly LIKELY, but it is happening with stunning speed and decisiveness, right before our eyes. One city after another is falling to the Taliban, with reports of scores of people unfriendly to the Taliban being beheaded and shot dead.

Whether any of these atrocities include Americans remains to be seen, since US sources do not have anybody on the ground in those locations. Over time, more clear reports will come forth, and none of them are going to look good for Joe MISCALCULATION Biden.

Another thing showing Biden's rookie incompetence was the 3000 US troops withdrawn only days ago, and now 3000 troops are being sent in to rescue US Embassy personnel. Clearly, the administration is lost on this whole thing. Biden simply doesn't know what the hell he's doing (or whoever is pulling his strings).

In a scathing editorial, The Washington Post said that Biden had put at risk the real progress in Afghanistan since 2001 including education for girls, banned by the Taliban when they last ruled.

"Afghan lives ruined or lost will belong to Pres. Biden's legacy just as surely as any US dollars and lives his decision may save," the newspaper wrote.
