Sorry about the “trump” reference. This story shows the juggling act required to manage “justice”.
Who dat gonna clean dem sidewalks?
Who dat gonna clean dem sidewalks?
Perhaps. Or just getting people off the sidewalks. Sidewalks aren’t the only surface in existence. That may not solve the homeless problem, but it at least assures egress.Simple solution: emergency requisitions of enough space in hotels, office buildings, and the homes of the wealthy to provide housing for every homeless person.
Just Like the Chain Gang, Slavery Was PunishmentSimple solution: emergency requisitions of enough space in hotels, office buildings, and the homes of the wealthy to provide housing for every homeless person.
Just force the people your system makes homeless out into the streets … what’s the worst that can happen?Perhaps. Or just getting people off the sidewalks. Sidewalks aren’t the only surface in existence. That may not solve the homeless problem, but it at least assures egress.
Fake Victimization—It's the Anthem of AntifaJust force the people your system makes homeless out into the streets … what’s the worst that can happen?
Capitalism by its nature systematically produces homelessness. The system and the housing market underpinning it can’t function without large numbers being unable to secure housing.Fake Victimization—It's the Anthem of Antifa
If it's @RickWA's system, he must be a drug dealer, or a trashy musician who glorifies drugs.
Hey, @RickWA? How come you turned productive citizens into lazy mooching crybabies who pig out on drugs like a spoiled 5-year-old getting sick to his stomach on candy?
You think “streets” and “sidewalks” are the only horizontal surfaces, eh? Brilliant, ETR. Just brilliant.Just force the people your system makes homeless out into the streets … what’s the worst that can happen?
I do it for kicks. When a person isn’t looking I make my move, loading up his arms with track marks, mussing his hair, and spraying him down with stank.Fake Victimization—It's the Anthem of Antifa

You think people are on the sidewalks because they have somewhere else to go? Ultimately there are only 2 solutions to homelessness … the socialist solution (addressing the root causes while getting people healthy and housed) and the capitalist solution (the gas chamber implied by your dehumanizing “just get them out of my sight” approach). You think “streets” and “sidewalks” are the only horizontal surfaces, eh? Brilliant, ETR. Just brilliant.
Meanwhile…yes, we should remove the drug addled, sidewalk-crapping homeless hordes from those sidewalks. Only a nutcase could disagree.
Nope. How about move them off the sidewalk? Or to your house??Simple solution: emergency requisitions of enough space in hotels, office buildings, and the homes of the wealthy to provide housing for every homeless person.
Boop. Yes.Perhaps. Or just getting people off the sidewalks. Sidewalks aren’t the only surface in existence. That may not solve the homeless problem, but it at least assures egress.
Cuba? You think people are on the sidewalks because they have somewhere else to go? I suggest we put them in the unused rooms of the houses of the wealthy. You suggest putting them in my house instead, because it is your principle that the wealthy must not be inconvenienced no matter how many sacrifices that means the poor making.Nope. How about move them off the sidewalk? Or to your house??
Sigh…in the meantime, get them off the sidewalks. Egress is needed. There is nothing gating the removal of homeless people and their tents from SIDEWALKS.You think people are on the sidewalks because they have somewhere else to go? No..I don't disagree, if they do choose...I just note that you do not.I suggest we put them in the unused rooms of the houses of the wealthy. You suggest putting them in my house instead, because it is your principle that the wealthy must not be inconvenienced no matter how many sacrifices that means the poor making.
You‘ve made yours clear by rejecting solutions so you could score cheap shots with ad hominems.No..I don't disagree, if they do choose...I just note that you do not.
PS..you don't know the first thing about my principles. Oddly enough, yours are somewhat glaring...
Again … what you are talking about will result in the deaths of many, and you know it.Sigh…in the meantime, get them off the sidewalks. Egress is needed. There is nothing gating the removal of homeless people and their tents from SIDEWALKS.
Oh no. Says the guy ascribing my positions to me over and over? That's rich. See above...it's my principle the wealthy must not..blah blah. You‘ve made yours clear by rejecting solutions so you could score cheap shots with ad hominems.
I suggested a solution which, unlike my inviting a few people into my rented house, would actually address the problem. You rejected it, based on the same principle I ascribed to you, which you state in other words in this post. I am not obliged to refrain from pointing out the ugly meaning behind your rhetoric.Oh no. Says the guy ascribing my positions to me over and over? That's rich. See above...it's my principle the wealthy must not..blah blah.
Don't babble about cheap shots ..all you do is direct blame at everyone and everything rather than address concrete actions and solutions
No. People do not owe anyone space in their home, nor hotels space in theirs, other than where they choose to do so.
Note: you choose not to. So ascribe your derelict principle to yourself.
