1. We hear reports from doctors and nurses all day long about how the health care system is on the verge of collapse, as they do not have the equipment/resources.

2. We hear governors of both parties, across the country, noting that states simply cannot buy what is needed, and pleading with the federal government to intercede and procure and allocate what is needed, as only the feds have the authority to do it.

3. We then watch Trump’s Six O’Clock Follies, with Trump’s sycophants misleading the public with vague double talk into thinking the feds are doing everything required to provide the equipment that is needed, with Trump refusing to invoke the full array of federal powers available to him, and blaming the states for any problems. As the epidemic rages by the day.

Madness.

What a croc of pure bull craps your pushing today. Trump is so far ahead of everyone it's ridiculous.
Most of the governors like Quomo don't have a clue and just flat lie to the people.

Unlike trump. He’s been on top of things. This was just the next democratic hoax. And 15 people had passed away, next thing you know it will he close to zero. Yeah, he’s been awesome.

Cuomo's state is a mess. Nearly half of all cases and deaths in the United States. How exactly do you define "on top of things"? His people are dying left and right and he's more worried about fishing with his brother.

And what is Pelosi doing?

Mar 30, 2020 · Pelosi Floats New Stimulus Plan: Rolling Back SALT Cap A proposal to retroactively lift a limit on state and local tax deductions would largely funnel money to high earners in high-tax states.

She is getting rich off of this.

When there's a natural disaster, FEMA, a federal agency, comes in to help states.

When a pandemic strikes, Trump says he's just back up for the states, that states should've been stockpiling what they needed in advance.

Trump is just being ridiculous, as always.

We have an array of federal agencies with the mission of anticipating, preparing for, and dealing with pandemics and other national emergencies. It’s asinine for Trump to now shirk that federal responsibility and blame states for not doing it.

Bottom line - Trump dropped the ball in nearly every way imaginable, including disbanding our pandemic response team. And it only got worse from there. Knowing that, he does what he always does - he tries to blame others. Trump should put the sign on his desk- “The buck stops....there.”

Ahhh, so Cuomo's city of death and his declining to purchase ventilators is now Trump's fault?

Trump's dithering and not taking a leadership role.....is in service of his fragile ego....to keep the public from seeing that he's a fraud. Too late.

I feel a bit lightheaded. Maybe you should drive.
You mean, calling attention to the political failures that have multiplied the death rate so much?
Are we permitted to "call attention" to the "multiplied death rate" resulting from the political "successes?"

Yes right wing successes in stifling healthcare reform, UE insurance and poverty programs will certainly multiply the death rate.

Finally you are dead right.

Let's see if it remains that way. Right now it's only ravaging the blue states. See if that hold up when it get to GOP'er run states.

You almost sound like a Trumpie who beat his chest few weeks ago over the 12000 lives lost under Obama during the H1N1 epidemic.

You won't see much chest beating from them over that number by the end of next week.
