The current rush to ban abortions is the backlash for the New York (and a few other states) voting to be able to abort full-term babies and still have it fall under "abortion" laws.
Both extremes are heinous and I hope they will settle out.
Disagreed. The current attacks on abortion rights are the culmination of decades of the right’s war on women. New York and a few other states protected opportunities that women already had because they saw this coming.
If you are against women who have miscarriages being able to have surgery to protect their health (the reason they have late-term abortions) then you support criminal penalties for women who miscarry.
