They voted against because it because they can't trust the money would be used to alleviate the conditions.
They voted against it because they have no other issues to run on in 2020. Obama created those camps. He's the one who first started separating the children from those animals. But because President Trump wants that money for the children, suddenly they aren't worthy.

By the way, the wall IS getting built. Slowly. And once that wall is built, there will be no more animals trying to cross the border. There will be no more separating children from those drug dealing human trafficking animals who dragged them across jungles in two Central American countries.

But you prefer seeing children in detention camps, huh?

I dont follow? thread jack?

At issue is persons openly railing against conditions and provisions....but then voting against the very funding that would improve and alleviate same.

How does that comport?
they voted against it because they said the money would be diverted to ICE once it was given. I agree, that is a dumbass, silly reason - to turn down the possible to try and attain the impossible. the 192 repubs voted against it because they could give a shit if brown people are treated humanely or not.

but you reserve your hostility and your fake outrage for the democrats....how sad.

Four House Democrats on Tuesday evening bucked party leadership and voted against a bill to provide $4.5 billion in emergency border funding.

The Democrats who voted against the bill were Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Ilhan Omar (Minn.), Ayanna Pressley(Mass.) and Rashida Tlaib (Mich.)

The handful of defections come in the wake of Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) meeting on Monday evening with progressive and Latino lawmakers who were hesitant to support the measure.

The Speaker urged members of her party to support the legislation earlier in the day, arguing that defecting would be a win for President Trump.

“Understand what we’re up against in the White House. The president would love for this bill to go down today,” Pelosi said during a closed-door caucus meeting Tuesday, according to a senior Democratic aide.

“A vote against this bill is a vote for Donald Trump and his inhumane, outside-the-circle of civilized attitude toward the children."

In a statement, Omar explained her reason for voting no.

“Throwing more money at the very organizations committing human rights abuses—and the very Administration directing these human rights abuses—is not a solution," she said. "This is a humanitarian crisis—a humanitarian crisis inflicted by our own leadership. It's also a refugee crisis fueled by state violence, corruption, and impunity in the Northern Triangle--one that this Administration has only fueled through mass deportation and slashing aid."

The wall would have been a better idea. Fewer animals crossing. Fewer animals trying to cross.

To bring you up to speed with what has happened, these animals were not Americans arrested and imprisoned without a trial.

These animals ILLEGALLY crossed the border. So far, TWO presidents have locked them up until their hearing.

They would have been better off staying in their shithole countries.

First, get the Nazis out of Congress. They created the problem by telling those animals that bringing a child would get them citizenship.

Second. Finish the wall. Put a nice big beautiful DOOR on that wall and invite the world. Tell the animals to get in line like everyone else.

If someone tried to break in front of a liberal in a Starbucks, there would be pants wetting and an attempted fistfight. These same liberals don't seem to have a problem with animals doing it to our southern border.

why do you consider them animals? are you just trying to prove how totally out of your mind you are to spew crazy ass shit like that? if so, good job. even most trump voters are way to the left of you on this hateful rhetoric.

I bet there was stipulations in the bill that gave part of the money to the stupid wall or hell, even to the Trump 2020 campaign. Or even for another parade in his honor.

The lies just keep coming, don't they?

Like you REALLY believe the House of Representatives would pass such a bill.

And you wonder why everybody says liberals are so STUPID.

i said they were silly and wrong...cutting off their nose to spite their face. all of these women have said things I find totally senseless and off the wall, but not out of racist or bigoted intent, just because they are passionate and inclined to speak first and see if what they said makes any sense later. but what possible reason could 192 repubs have for not wanting to ease the humanitarian crisis and why is that somehow less egregious than 4 democrats out of the whole House voting against it?
