THE LAST VERMEER -

Just saw "Shock and Awe"....it was an amazing true story of the run up to the invasion of Iraq...and the media that acted as a PR machine for the Bush administration vs Knight Ridder fighting to put out the truth.

The trailer looks like it would be a great movie with many truths revealed. The cast also has some of my favorite actors. Tommy Lee Jones being one of my very favorites. I will have to catch it soon. Thanks for adding it.
Here's the trailer I just watched.

I've watched Moonstruck at least 20 times. It never gets old.
Some movies are like that. It's not that unusual, same way for me.
Anthony Hopkins is another one of my favorite actors. This one below I have watched more than once. It's an oldie.

Here's another favorite of his... He plays a psychic and the govt want him to work for them and he is hiding from them. I will have to search for it.
His latest one I watched is, The Father, I have watched it twice. He does some really great acting in it.

The Edge 1997 Trailer HD | Anthony Hopkins | Alec Baldwin

The Edge 1997 An intellectual billionaire and two lesser men struggle to band together and survive after getting stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with a blood-thirsty Kodiak Bear hunting them down.

Hearts in Atlantis - Trailer #1
Based on a Stephen King novella, the film is set in the small-town Connecticut of 1960 and centers around an 11-year-old fatherless boy, whose life is changed when an eccentric man with a psychic gift boards at his home.

Band Of Brothers wasn't really a movie, more a mini-series....but incredibly touching when you realized the old guys talking about their experiences were actually characters in the movie...The scene in the church where the whole company is pictured, but slowly disappearing as the ones killed are pictured and fade out. Heart breaking...

Okay, it worked. Thank you. Harry Dean Stanton has been in so many movies. it's hard to keep track.
I like the part he played in Lilies of The Field. :)
If you didn't know, there is a whole franchise on the Alien series; makes for very good viewing.
