Fearful

[TwoWitnesses]

there are those who are simply fearful
much of what they profess is fear
their own festering fear
of the changes they can't control

they want to scare people
to make others as frightened as they are
their fear turns to hatred
their hatred turns to lies

they're scared their fathers were wrong
they're scared their government
will be proven wrong
they may find out
their enemies have not been all wrong

they don't want answers to the ills
they will attack the answers
they embrace the old ways
because they're scared of today

they are a dying breed
their ideas are dying
so when the change comes
and the truth begins to shine
they will realize it's a brave new world
and they just haven't been brave enough.

So very true of so many in this Country today. Thanks for the poem that expresses so much.

To me the future I have left is something to look forward to,not fear. I hope to watch the new generation take over and they will! It is already starting.

We are in a trough right now,but the pendulum will swing once again. It always does.
