Yes, Republicans don't stand for anything but hatred of Democrats.... the multi-Trillion dollar Donkey budget come a big win in 2022 and Trump 2024.
Well, that and not stomping up and down on the economy.Yes, Republicans don't stand for anything but hatred of Democrats.
They've repealed infrastructure every year for the past 20 yrs with tax cuts and war spending.... the multi-Trillion dollar Donkey budget come a big win in 2022 and Trump 2024.
Maybe you should not have piled so much hatred on Trump and his voters. You didn't expect something in kind?Yes, Republicans don't stand for anything but hatred of Democrats.
Lets do just ONE real infrastructure thing and only one, first. They've repealed infrastructure every year for the past 20 yrs with tax cuts and war spending.
Why is it that when Dems redirect revenue toward the people in this country, you Republicans get angry ?
Why do you hate Americans ?
Because if that is all they set out to do that is all that will ever get done.Lets do just ONE real infrastructure thing and only one, first.
Lets fix the navigable waterways that are in dire need of help and NOBODY talks about. They carry huges amounts of commerce and are 1/12 to 1/15 the cost to transport goods than any other mode of transportation. We have infrastructure pre-dating the Roosevelt years still in service.
Total cost to fix all of it from coast to coast $200B

A journey of a thousand steps starts one step at a time.Because if that is all they set out to do that is all that will ever get done.
Yet leftist LOVE republicansYes, Republicans don't stand for anything but hatred of Democrats.
Yeah, but we are talking 30 yrs between steps if we do it that way.A journey of a thousand steps starts one step at a time.
Again, we don't hate you.Yet leftist LOVE republicans
How is that with that post?Yes, Republicans don't stand for anything but hatred of Democrats.
No, not 30 years. More like ten and you build up trust so that a year later you start another massive infrastructure plan. Say something like engineering to refill the Ogallala Aquifer. After that help finance drip irrigation research and development, and implementation. You know real shit.Yeah, but we are talking 30 yrs between steps if we do it that way.
Anyway, how are we going to get down that road when it washed out during a hurricane a decade ago ?
When was the last big infrastructure effort ?No, not 30 years. More like ten and you build up trust so that a year later you start another massive infrastructure plan. I don't understand your bitching and moaning at me. I told you what weWhen was the last big infrastructure effort ?
Most of the stimulus under Obama went into tax cuts.
So that wasn't it.
What else the building of the US highway system or the electrification of rural America.
No, these are not chances good people take unless they are really credit card ho's.Fact is, these chances to do it and the will to take advantage of them are few and far between.
I am asking you a pertinent question.I don't understand your bitching and moaning at me. I told you what we
should do and why and you rag my ass out over the past 2 posts running. You MUST be a woman. ha ha
No, these are not chances good people take unless they are really credit card ho's.
Doing what? Spend money?I am asking you a pertinent question.
Because we haven't done this in 70 yrs, and you're talking about it happening twice in the next 10 yrs. History is showing us what we need to do now, or we may end up never doing it for another 70 yrs.
Tax cuts grow the economy. And the government revenue stream local, state, and federal. As for it being an endeavor funded by borrowing.
One of the two parties keeps slashing govt revenue with tax cuts.
Every fscking road mile and I presume bridge I drive over almost every year from the deep south to the far north, 1500 miles worth, for the last 30 years is in great fscking working condition. There were years when all they were doing was fixing and widening I95, I75, I24... nothing but asphalt laying with bumber to bumber traffic. I a couple of times tried the Indiana route (not the greatest) but they asphalted over their concrete highways and they have been good for some time. The downward spiral in revenue pretty much coincides with the downfall of our infrastructure. Like I said before wars and tax cuts have probably done as much damage to our overall infrastructure as our bombs did the infrastructure of the nations we made war on. Only it happened through deterioration rather than destruction.
Spending on large infrastructure project.Doing what? Spend money?

Clearly there is work to be done on much stuff but I'm not believing we are rotten to the core and so damn the torpedoes and lets spend 3-5 Trillion lickity split. Now Chicago and Detroit do suck but that's Illinois' and Michigan's problem. They've been so poorly managed and they think they deserve bailing out. NO!
Some European countries tried to tax wealth. Didn't work and they had to forget about it or ruin their welfare-capitalist economies.Spending on large infrastructure project.
Things that actually do pay for themselves by actually facilitating the growth of the economy.
We have seen for the past 40 yrs that tax cuts do not grow the economy.
Maybe we should do what we had been doing in the previous 40 yrs before that, when the economy did grow.
Invest in the country as a whole rather than outsourcing those decisions to the top 1%.
Who might I remind you did grow significantly in their own personal wealth over the past 40 yrs while the country itself crumbled.
