Governors should protect the health and safety of their citizens.....and not fight school districts' right to mandate masks.
Children went to school masked last year.
Children should go to school masked again this year.....since the younger than 12 years are catching and spreading Covid with some getting sick enough to be hospitalized.

Governors should strictly obey the constitution which they have sworn to uphold. If those constitutions assign the right to the office of governor to make wardrobe covering mandates, then very well. If they do not, or if those constitutions are silent on the matter (likely the case) then the citizens and the courts will need to take up the matter.

In any case, we are NOT a constitutional republic only when no dangers or illnesses are present.
