The American right wing wants a theocracy just like the far right Middle East. The right wing is already calling for death for those that don't have their radical mindset.

A slow burn to 'hell'.

Maybe you can highlight to part in the article that says that the books were rejected for religious reasons. I'll wait. :)

Why don't you show where the teaching of math is a problem?

The fascist right wing started with attacking school boards. Now they're attacking what every child should learn- Math.

I know that you can't see it because you're in a cult, but you're slowly becoming what the Middle East wants...a theocracy for them to battle- Christianity vs Islam.

You, and your right wing cultists, will end up sowing what they want.

Snap tf out of it, will you?!

They're in a cult--just like they have fox news glorifying putin.

The right wing is insane because of their hatred of Democrats.

Much like their cheering for Ukraine to fall.

History is repeating itself.

The teaching of math isn't the problem. The inclusion of CRT or any of its components into grade school math is. That is why the math books were rejected.

And now, the rest of the story:

SARASOTA, Fla. – The Florida Department of Education rejected more than 50 mathematics textbooks – about 40% of those submitted – for failing to meet Florida’s new learning standards or “contained prohibited topics” that included references to critical race theory.

In its news release late Friday, the department announced it had disapproved what it said was a record number of math textbooks – 54 of 134 – submitted by publishers.

Florida rejects 54 math books for schools over critical race theory (usatoday.com)

Why would a math book have references to "critical race theory"?

They almost surely didn’t. They were likely rejected for not being overtly racist, which right-wing Floridians viewed as a “critical race theory” approach.
