Los Angeles protesters descended on a hospital where two deputies were taken after an “ambush” left them in critical condition.

“We hope they die,” the crowd reportedly chanted, blocking the entrance to St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California.

"They were saying, 'Death to the police,' and, 'Kill the police,' and these are sheriffs, but the message is still the same. They were using all types of curse words and derogatory terms," a faith leader told a local news outlet. "Unacceptable behavior because a hospital should be a sanctuary."

One of the protesters outside of the hospital was heard telling an officer, "That's why you're dying one by one, you stupid f---s. Y'all gonna die one by one. This ain't gonna stop."
